Shia P.G. College (Associate College of University of Lucknow) in it’s centenary year (1919-2019) and Indian Mental Health and Research Centre (IMHRC) takes tremendous delight in welcoming the benefactors over the Country to the interdisciplinary "One Day National Conference on “Biopsychosocial Perspectives of Trauma” going to be held on January 13th, 2019 at Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh.


About Shia P.G. College (A Minority Institution)

Let no child remain uneducated while I hold the reigns of power” (Imam Ali a.s.)            

  Thus Shia College started as a school in 1919. The college rose to the status of an Intermediate College in 1922, teaching subjects in Humanities and Social Sciences. Established with lofty ideals, Shia College has grown from a School to a Post-Graduate College within about eight decades enrolling about 10,000 students per academic session with about 200 teachers and about the same number of non-teaching staff, currently running U.G and P.G. courses in Science, Humanities, Commerce, Law and Mass Communication and Journalism.


Indian Mental Health and Research Centre is a unit of IPYF, a youth driven organisation. Since 2012, we’ve driven positive youth development across the nation. Through our experience and partnerships, we’ve impacted more than 1 million lives and continue to enrich the global understanding of how to connect young people with hope, jobs, and a brighter future. Anchored by our mission, we are constantly deepening our research and bridging new partnerships to innovate and provide scalable, sustainable solutions for the most challenging problems faced by youth. IMHRC was established in 2015 as a special unit of IPYF with focus on current and future trends and challenges in the field of mental and psychological health.

Our conference brings renowned national personalities to a single floor. It includes paper presentation, poster presentation, lectures, YRF (Young Research Forum) and various other programs for the participants. We encourage the curious minds to analyze and discuss about latest research and advancements in Trauma.
